Vince and Kendra were the winners of the Walton Area Chamber Free Wedding Giveaway in 2015! This was the culmination of all the hard work of many amazing vendors who donated their time and efforts to make this possible. We were honored to be the chosen Destin Wedding Videographer for their beautiful wedding!

These two chose the gorgeous beaches of Pensacola to tie the knot. Behind the Pensacola Beach Hilton, they had a small ceremony of family and friends followed by a beautiful reception at Hemmingways on the boardwalk.

Seaside Proposal | Ryan + Clare

We first learned about Ryan’s Seaside proposal plans when our friend Ashley with Ashley Nichole Photography called us up to share the news. He had an elaborate plan, full of surprises, and wanted Ashley there to photograph the moment he asked for Clare to be his forever.

He mentioned how great it would be to have it on video, which is exactly why she called us. We were thrilled to partner with her and see what we could do to make Ryan’s wishes come true. We met up with their families first to get some words of wisdom, excitement, and well wishes while they awaited. Then we moved to the beach to get set up and ready for them to walk down.

His first surprise was that her entire family was flying in for the occasion, to surprise her post proposal. His family was already on vacation with them, so they were waiting alongside her family in a pavilion overlooking the beach where the Seaside Proposal would happen. They were to be walking hand in hand on the beach at sunset, where they would pass a cooler with a speaker, playing their song. Ryan would ask her stop, run to the cooler to grab the ring, and drop to a knee. Her face was priceless, and even more so when she realized her family was walking down to meet them. So much emotion, tears, and love can be felt while watching it unfold. You won’t want to miss it!

Santa Rosa Beach Wedding | Herbie + Erin

These two lovebirds went a little different route for their big day and it ended up beautiful! When I first spoke with Erin, she had cancelled her big wedding back home and wanted to elope in a stunning Santa Rosa Beach wedding. It was to only be her, her fiancé, and 15 of their friends and family – and boy was it perfect!

They venue their chose was 331 South, and they were married on the dock overlooking the water, to have the feel of the beach but without the sand. We arrived early enough to get some shots of her dress and shoes, which also lead to some adorable shots of her niece and nephew, the flower girl and ring bearer.

Once the knot was tied, dinner was held inside in a private room, decorated beautifully with just enough space. A few toasts were said, a great meal was had, and dessert ended the inside portion of the evening. Herbie and Erin shared their first dance as husband and wife on the dock outside under the lights, where their friends and family soon joined them.

Pensacola Beach House Wedding | Ryan + Shera

Where do I begin? Shera and I began emailing a few months before the big day and I learned how her family was traveling from all over the country (and world!) to be a part of her big day. Family was of a big importance to her and we knew we had to capture those moments.

They wanted to have a private Pensacola Beach House wedding where they could tie the knot on the beach and have everyone stay in one spot for a reception. A meal was catered in, a DJ set up underneath the house, and it was the perfect size for her guest list. We had a little scare with the rain, but in the end it held off long enough for us to get some amazing photos and video.

At the reception, the couple gave an opportunity to the guests to stand up and speak one by one, to give congratulations to the couple or to just share a story. Lots of laughs and tears and emotions ensued and it was one of the most fun things I’ve been a part of.

They ended the evening by dancing the night away and spending even more quality time with their family and friends. We were honored to work with Dragonfly Photography out of Alabama who took the amazing photographs featured here in this post.
