Tanner and Chris met and were friends in High School, long before Tanner accepted Chris’ request for a date. She finally said yes and while the couple was taking a quick break in high school, Chris’ best friend asked Tanner out. She politely said no, to which he replied “I hope you have a crappy life!” {Insert life long jokes and laughs about this statement}. That best friend was Chris’ best man, who made sure to apologize for that during his toast.
The two best friends from Kentucky have been inseparable ever since and chose to have a Carillon Beach Meeting House Wedding. Another thing we adored was her “Groomsmen Reveal”, where they saw Tanner in her dress before Chris did. Their reactions were some of the best we’ve seen, captured in photos by Meg Burke Photography below. Seeing Tanner walk down the aisle in the Carillon Beach Meeting House brought Chris to tears, a moment forever captured on film.
Their reception followed on the lawn at the Carillon Beach Meeting House as the two danced the night away with their family and friends. In lieu of a catered dinner, they brought in Dovalina’s food truck serving specialty Pizza (LOVE) followed by a donut board for dessert.
