ShareWe love when brides think outside the box! Joy and Charles chose to have an intimate brunch wedding at the Vue on 30a in Destin Florida. It was a rainy morning while the wedding party got ready at a beach house off Hwy 30a in Santa Rosa Beach; the girls in the pool house and the guys in the main house.
The rain didn’t let up, so the beach ceremony was moved under the covered patio overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Joy chose a unique circle ceremony set up for the guests’ seating, while they stood in the middle with the officiant. A harp from Top Hat Live greeted the guests and played the music for the bridal party and bride to enter. Joy and Charles wrote vows to each other, detailing their story of how she prayed in detail for a man, and God delivered Charles who was everything on her list and more. Joy jokes “I need to be more careful what I pray for!”
After they’re announced husband and wife, the couple takes photos on the patio while guests are treated to brunch treats like mimosas and grits. Studio Petali transformed the room with their amazing floral design and styling, complete with Oyster shell name plates and handwritten thank you notes to each individual guest. The entire event was beautifully designed by an amazing team of vendors. Check out their wedding film:
